Penny Haynes | | We are planning the Online International Podcasting Expo (IPE) for Saturday, April 25, 2009.
I need speakers who would like to participate to share ONE topic which has to do with PODCASTING, and a basic outline. You can talk about production, distribution, marketing, sharing your content on social networks and social media sites, other things you can do with your podcast - but ALL topics must be related to online audio and video. ONLY 1 topic per speaker. It has to be what you know best.
We are only doing a 1 day event, so the few speakers we have will be picked by Topic only, and attendees will pick which topics they are most interested in. At this point, until I receive offers from hosts in other world time zones, it will take place over a 12 hour period, with an hour break for lunch/networking and an hour for dinner/networking.
We will have a BEGINNER'S track and an ADVANCED track, so please clarify which topic you will speak on. We will start at 10am EST and run through 10pm EST, which allows for 10 speakers for each track. Presentations will be 45 minutes, with 10 minutes to answer questions, and a 5 minute break between sessions.
Lastly, ALL presenters MUST have a web cam and high speed internet (no dial-up) to participate.

Bruce Chambers | | I woould like to speak on the top that always gets good results: Networking and Cross Marketing With Other Podcasters: Running Your Own Podcast Network.
I believe this would be on the Advanced track since this is a step beyond the basics>
Topics Include:
1. Selecting Podcasts for your network
2. Legal Aspects
3. Proper Use of RSS Feeds When Marketing
4. Updating Your Network With New Podcast Content

I have produced over 500 podcasts, over 200 of them my Eclectic Mix podcast which I started in the summer of 2005. I am the past President of the Association of Music Podcasting and have a real interest in promoting independent artists and helping podcasters select the right music for their podcast.
