I do not know what the legal ramifications are for doing this, but the idea of being able to place a commercial in someone else's video I think is fascinating. If you have yet to see this at work, click here.

The legal ramifications depend on the copyright of the video. If you repackage something that the creator says you can modify and repackage it as you wish, then go right ahead.

But most, if not all, podcasts have some sort of copyright on them. Most podcasts are under a licence that says "You can share it, but you can't change it, and you have to give the creator credit". And some are more restrictive.

Just imagine if I took the latest James Bond flick, put some ads in it (with the ad money going to me), and started distributing it, for free, online. That's theft. Same thing with any podcast where the owner does not give you specific permission to do it.

But, if you make your own video, then you can do whatever you wish.

Can't address the legals on this, Lamar but the concept is absolutely fabulous.

Conventional on page video for building relations is still a great medium for engaging visitors but it's becoming old hat.

As you may have noted ... I frequently "sandwich" Youtubes in my vids and always make sure my contact info at the end, stays on screen for an extended period. ... Often with different messages but a constant URL.

I have a fair handle on creating vids. .... Now am focussed on developing a process for including hot links in the vid as it plays.

Expect to see more Youtube vids licenced. ... Could be tough to pick a winner but it's gonna be a big biz. (Not my style but some vulgar vids seem to get 1 million views in a single month).

Love your discovery ... Thanks for bringing it to us.

FWIW ... Now have almost 1,000 followers on Twitter.

Bestest.
