Move to where the food is. Where is your audience? Go there. I do a podcast for musicians, so I found out where the local "Jam nights" were and passed out CDs with example episodes (and directions on how to subscribe). I have a fitness show, I'm getting business cards made, and I could (wink) go to a store like Wal Mart and put a business card in every box of exercise equipment on their shelf. I've heard of people going to stores where their audience shops (say a craft store for a craft podcast ) and writing their URL in chalk on the sidewalk. These are all "Geurilla" methods. The point is to be relentless in your marketing. WHen paying at a restaurant, put a business card in with your tip. (Business cards are what a dime a piece). Make sure your friends and family have cards as well.
