George .... FWIW ... I use Eudora as an eMail client and have set the extensive filter features to display folder icons along the bottom as Ryze notifications arrive.

I can also have audio alerts and auto-redirects to my PDA when replies to advertisments arrive.

I can't imagine a better process.
