Guys,

What I would like to do is simply to get some folks who are Internet savvy in some ways - which pretty much precludes folks who live around here - to show up. That means I am looking to attempt to attract folks from outside this rural county to perhaps help educate the folks where since this shopping center has TWO Wi-Fi hot spots.

I have heard of Meetups and I have heard of Tweetups. But, I do not know what is involved in getting such folks to my area of the world. Silicon Valley is just three hours from here. But, that means six hours in your car for an event that is only three hours long. So, I doubt anyone will be making the trek from the Bay Area.

Any suggestions for me regarding attracting tech savvy folks?
