Dave, shame on you for being so secretive. How dare you keep a lady waiting ;) Can't wait to hear about the launch of this new service. Do share once it's up and running.
To Lamar's question, check out http://www.oovoo.com. This service is just like Skype, the only difference is that you speak to each other via webcams. You can then record it and do whatever with it, including podcasting.
Rob Schultz also does some split screen interviews. His website is http://www.interviewproductsecrets.com/ and you can see what he did for my friend Milana Leshinsky at http://www.richcoachpoorcoach.com/newcoachingmanifesto.com/blog/?p=11.
Not sure what type of technology or software he used to do this, so I can't advise.
I use Camtasia for my video production. I've used it for almost 7 years now, so it's all 2nd nature, but you can follow Penny's advice to record a split screen or try out ooVoo.
