I'm not exactly clear what a podcast is.

For Towncrier's purposes we facilitate an interactive broadcast where the viewers can participate without requiring any downloads or subscriptions and the 'cast is archived for later viewing.    More Here

Additionally; We can also do a split screen 'cast where viewers can see and hear both host and guest. (Again without requiring guest or viewer downloads or subscriptions).

Usually we host archives on our own resources which lets us present some other ideas/promos when the archive is viewed while at others .... we'll select a Youtube or Metacafe.

My "Welcome to Ryze" is archived on Metacafe.

I'm becoming more interested in Metacafe since they have a programme that pays posters and I discovered that one had pocketed over $100,000 in just under 2 years.  More in my Blog. Click Here

We're using Stickam for streaming the broadcast and while it's not exactly what I would like;   It is a solid platform and we're well satisfied.
