Thanks for your reply, Dave.

I'm not using a player per se. but 'embedding' the swf file in an HTML page.

I'm not an flash specialist by any stretch and haven't a clue where to start hacking my code to make the audios play in pages displayed in both IE and Firefox browsers.

Some of the swf's I've created play OK in both browsers (Both auto-start and 'click to play'). While other swf's will only play in one or the other.

Guess it may be time for "Flash for dummies".

I'll shuffle over to wimpyplayer and look for some pointers. Thanks for your interest.
